Engaging in

Goal of raising full mission support

Building eternal
friendships

Michael and Sarah Schoenfeld are lifelong partners in faith and ministry. From southeastern Wisconsin—Michael from Lake Mills and Sarah from Fort Atkinson—they met in high school, attended Lakeside Lutheran, and graduated from Martin Luther College.

Their passion for foreign ministry has been shaped by the many role models who have guided them along their ministerial journey, cultivating a love for language learning, cultural awareness, and approaching every conversation with grace and empathy at the forefront. They began serving overseas in East Asia in 2018, and after several years serving families and students in Kenosha, WI, they are now excited to embark on a new chapter as missionaries in Seoul, South Korea. Michael brings experience as a middle school teacher, robotics coach, and technology director, while Sarah was blessed to serve as a school counselor at Shoreland Lutheran High School.

Serving alongside their son, Ezra, the Schoenfelds are eager to pursue their shared ministry goals as a family—supporting churches, leading Bible studies, and answering God’s call wherever it takes them.
