Celebrate with us!

Friends Network will commission its new missionaries in a special service on Sunday, July 20 at 2:00 PM. The service will be held at New Life Lutheran Church in Shoreview, MN (180 County Rd F, Shoreview, MN 55126).

This year marks the beginning of our 25th anniversary celebration! The first cohort of Friends of China teachers left for Beijing in 2000, and over the past 25 years we have commissioned over 350 missionaries for service in seven different countries. 

Join us in praising God for his tremendous blessings as we reflect on all the ways he has worked through this amazing organization over the years.

We are excited to welcome Friends Network Missionary Micah Otto as our guest preacher for this service. Micah and his wife Christina served as Friends Network missionaries in China prior to being recalled during Covid. Micah then completed his studies at Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary, and upon graduation he and his family redeployed to the mission field. They serve in Manila, Philippines where they are a part of a vibrant ministry of outreach and Bible teaching.
