Liam was born in LaPorte, Indiana, and currently lives in Appleton, Wisconsin. His childhood gave him a love for travel as he moved over six times, one of the moves was to Ft.Myers, Florida, a far cry from the chills of Wisconsin winter. Liam is planning to serve in Mito, Japan.

 

He is moving to Japan in September 2025. Liam is a 2024 graduate of the pre-seminary program provided by Martin Luther College where he began to learn the biblical languages and continued his growth in his faith. Liam grew up surrounded by ministry with his parents both being teachers, his grandfather and his uncle are both pastors, and he was inspired by many more role model pastors and teachers. His mother taught English in Japan before he was born and he had lots of exposure to Japanese culture growing up. His pastoral education inspired in him a love for language learning and especially sharing the Gospel with those who have never heard it. All of this came together in June of 2024 when he was given an opportunity to travel to Japan and teach English for 2 months at Megumi Lutheran Church.
