The fact that Caleb and Lily met at all is nothing short of a miracle, and it's a living example of how Friends Network has impacted so many people’s lives over the years.

Caleb graduated from Martin Luther College in 2019 as a pastor track student, but instead of enrolling straight into seminary school, he set his sights east – far east. In East Asia, he’d have the chance to fulfill his passion: planting and watering the seeds of the gospel. Thankfully, the Lord provided, and in more ways than he ever could’ve imagined!

It wasn’t long until Caleb met Lily, who was born and raised in his mission field as a fifth generation Christian. If it hadn’t been for previous Friends Network missionaries, who invited Lily to their Bible study while she was a student at her university, the two would’ve never gotten the chance to meet at a Bible study of their own eight years later.

Now, married almost four years and having lived the past three in the country they met, they’ve again set their sights on the mission field. In the Philippines, Caleb and Lily will continue their mission of planting and watering those same seeds of the gospel that brought them together. After seeing everything God has done for them over the past seven years, there is no denying that he will continue to provide in this new chapter of their life, causing more and more seeds to grow through their work.
