Christine Doebler and her husband Matt have served as WELS missionaries for 10 years in Asia, and have spent the last two years in Brisbane, Australia. Under her team's branding of THRIVE English Community, Christine enjoys teaching ESL classes as a way to meet and bless fellow immigrants at local libraries. She especially loves teaching small group Bible studies with women from around the world, and hosting morning teas and game days as ways to welcome and connect with other newcomers to Australia.
As Empty Nesters, the Doeblers enjoy the freedom to equip and encourage new church plants in Melbourne, Hervey Bay, and Auckland, New Zealand. As a way to encourage the global Church, Christine serves as a Life Coach through Grace in Action. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, writing, biking, and being a grandma (Mimi) to 3 precious grandchildren who live in Arizona and the UK.
